Over the past three weeks worth of reviews here at The Cider Journal, three ciders have stood out above the rest. Atop the list of top-rated ciders for the past three weeks is the West County Reine de Pomme. As we wrote in the review, “this is a beautiful cider that has a muscular character and offers complex flavors and aromas.” The Farnum Hill Extra Dry earned 4-stars and is a very sophisticated cider that we thought a perfect choice to pair with a main course. Finally, Oliver’s Bittersweet Funk Dry Cider earned its 4 stars by trading in complexity. While astringent and filled with tannin, those tannins carried a lot on them.
We encourage you to read the full reviews and to seek these ciders out to try for yourself.
