The Rabid Dry from Apple Outlaw in Oregon’s Rogue Valley starts out brilliantly clear and with a gold hue to the organic liquid. The aromatics on this cider are compelling with its straight green apple notes, a hit of earth and yeast, brown sugar aromas and nice lime blossom halo. As advertised, this is dry cider with a very juicy, acidic core that is held together with a slight tannic edge. The apple flavors are distinct and ripe to underripe. Allspice notes poke through along with a slight earth character. All put together this is a very clean, very easy to like, refreshing and even interesting dry cider.
