Light golden out of the bottle, the cider resembles Sauvignon Blanc. The nose on this cider is sweet and floral and applish and has really prominent banana notes that just hang under the sweet apple aromas. Light bodied on the palate with the slightest hint of effervescence. Tannins and smooth set of tannins arrive on the tongue, overtaking the acidity. The Amity Rose is labeled as dry, but there is certainly the approach of something sweet when you taste this cider. Roasted apple flavors appear too, followed by a mineral note, floral qualities and finished with thin layer of bitters or earthiness. Traditions Ciderworks is the second label of 2 Towns Ciderhouse in Oregon. The label is reserved for ciders produced by smaller orchardists and is aimed at highlighting vintage and terroir.
